Born in Camden, South Carolina, and brought up on the banks of Lake Wateree, Monica Price has Carolina in her blood. Monica lived in Aiken as a child, and family job opportunities have brought her full circle. Monica attended The College of Charleston, where she immersed herself in the arts, beaches, and the culinary world. She graduated with honors obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications. Monica has worked in sales/marketing and business management during her career. After the birth of her son and the move to Aiken, Monica decided to pursue a career in real estate.
Monica has a gypsy soul, which has taken her to various European countries and locations throughout the United States. Her travels feed her love of architecture, culture, nature, and the arts (all of which she loves, be it culinary, performing, fine arts, visual arts, you name it). I moved to Aiken 13 years ago from New York and I have never looked back. One the the reasons that I moved here is the cost of living, it is so affordable, the weather is awesome, we have no snow or ice and the equestrian population is huge.I have five horses and I do Eventing. Having evented in 9 States including Canada, I can honestly tell you there is nowhere in the world that you will find 4 recognized events in one town. Other venues here are Dressage, Polo we have 4 Hunts, Western pleasure riding Carriage driving, and 2 Hunter/ jumper facilities that offer A-rated shows. We have a 2 Thousand Acre preserve with manicured trails and cross-country jumps. We are 2 1/2 hours from beautiful beaches and 4 to 5 hours from ski resorts Aiken offers 3 beautiful gated communities if you're retired and want to enjoy awesome golf courses and competitive or recreational tennis.
