I moved to Aiken 13 years ago from New York and I have never looked back. One the the reasons that I moved here is the cost of living, it is so affordable, the weather is awesome, we have no snow or ice and the equestrian population is huge.I have five horses and I do Eventing. Having evented in 9 States including Canada, I can honestly tell you there is nowhere in the world that you will find 4 recognized events in one town. Other venues here are Dressage, Polo we have 4 Hunts, Western pleasure riding Carriage driving, and 2 Hunter/ jumper facilities that offer A-rated shows. We have a 2 Thousand Acre preserve with manicured trails and cross-country jumps. We are 2 1/2 hours from beautiful beaches and 4 to 5 hours from ski resorts Aiken offers 3 beautiful gated communities if you're retired and want to enjoy awesome golf courses and competitive or recreational tennis. Pickleball is here too. I would love to work with you to help you find your dream retirement home , your affordable horse property or just a lovely home for your family

Originally from Connecticut, I was drawn to Aiken by my love of horses and our wonderful winter weather. Aiken continues to excel as a mecca for all things equestrian (and outdoors), and I often say that we are 'Disneyland' for the horse lover ! In my previous sales careers, I worked for several Fortune 500 firms: Bausch&Lomb, Proctor&Gamble, Antech Diagnostics, and MediMedia Animal Health. My current career as a REALTOR utilizes many of the skills learned in my previous work, where delivering excellent, professional service to buyers and sellers is paramount.
In the Fall of 2011, I moved to Aiken and in my spare time, enjoy competing my off-the-track Thoroughbred, Top Hot Rod (Roddy) at eventing, volunteering at local horseshows, gardening and entertaining.
I will always welcome your calls and questions, with a smile !
Mark's approach to real estate is slightly different from the norm. At this stage of his career, he has the philosophy that "four quarters are preferable to 100 pennies". With this attitude, he has the freedom to pick and choose which clients he will work with. By limiting the number of transactions he is responsible for at any given time, he can give each the concentrated attention necessary for as smooth an experience as possible.
Mark grew up in Northern Westchester County New York, and after two decades renovating antique houses in Charleston, relocated to Aiken in 2004. He is deeply involved in the equestrian community, and has enjoyed homes in various areas of Aiken including the Historic/Horse district, mid-century midtown and two distinctive country club neighborhoods.
"Please reach out to me with any questions you may have regarding buying or selling a home. I am happy to help!"
I have lived in the Aiken/North Augusta area my whole life and decided 4 years ago I wanted to get into real estate. My background is in customer service so this totally aligned with what I take great pride in. I have been licensed in GA/SC for 3 years and find it be a very rewarding experience walking my clients through the process of selling or buying their home. I wanted to do something to help people and still be able to do my first job of being a mom and this has allowed me to accomplish just that. My husband Cliff and I have two daughters Baleigh(21) and Ellie(12) of which one is now married and we gained a son Cameron. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends and being involved in my church along with serving others where I can.
I have been an active member of my community for the past 30 years, and I am so excited to be turning that community focus toward real estate.
With a passion for service, I am ready to help with you with your homebuying and selling needs. As a proud member of the United Real Estate, Aiken family, I carry the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding client service into everything I do. .
When I am not making homeownership dreams come true for my clients, I enjoy spending time gardening and decorating my home. I live in North Augusta with my husband of 30 years, have two grown children; Michael, 30 and Justin, 27 and two fur babies; Maggie and Riley.
